Welcome!
The Manitoba Schools Science Symposium (MSSS) is the largest annual science event held for students throughout Manitoba. The fair is run by two committees, the Board of Directors and the Planning Committee.
MSSS is held every April and is open to all students from grades 4 to 12.
Each year, some 500 young scientists attend MSSS to present their research to top scientists and industry experts. The student participants present their work in nine divisions and four age categories for medals, special awards, scholarships, program enrollments, and trips worth over $30,000.
This year, MSSS will be back April 9-12, 2026 at the Max Bell Centre, on the University of Manitoba’s Fort Garry Campus! This will be our 55th year.
