An outstanding project that applies the combined skills of ART AND SCIENCE to address a pressing environmental issue. In addition to traditional science content, the project must incorporate an artistic discipline and fall into one of the seven areas of environmental focus: Renewable Energy, Sustainable Development, Resource Management, Environmental Influences on Health, Culture, Society and the Environment, the Greening of Products and Services or Biodiversity.

MSSS is pleased to announce that Monsanto Canada will be sponsoring the Best Overall Biological project awards and a trip to Canada-Wide Science Fair starting 2006.

The student that wins this award will join selected students (four from Canada, three from U.S., one from Europe, and one from Australia) to spend three days helping with polar bear research projects on the world famous Tundra Buggies in Churchill, Manitoba. This award is being sponsored by PBI and Manitoba Conservation.
